Cassie Walther is a wife and mother of three children, Logan, Tyler and Brennan. After the birth of Brennan with Down syndrome, Cassie has worked tirelessly, learning about Down syndrome and its impact on individuals. Brennan is an active preschooler who attends Catholic school. Cassie is committed to providing Brennan and others with the resources needed to be successful in life.



Born and raised in St.Tammany Parish, April Narretto is a teacher by degree. She is the wife of John and mother of Ragan, Catherine, Brooke and William, her youngest was born with Down syndrome. As a parent, she has high expectation for all of her children and encourages other parents, family members, and educators to do the same. William attends school while his parents are proactive by working closely with teachers, therapists and staff alike. April’s viewpoint is to set high expectations for all people beginning at an early age. This is key to ensure individuals will achieve academically, socially, etc. in all aspects of life while becoming a productive member of their community.

A New Orleans native and Mandeville resident, Michelle Nader is a wife and mother of 5. The last child, Benjamin, was born in 2005 with Down syndrome. Ben survived many medical challenges and is currently in school. Michelle is a strong advocate of appropriate education for all children. Michelle's philosophy is that inclusion in school fosters acceptance: acceptance fosters self confidence; self confidence fosters inclusion in life.
